Continue reading →In this video, we will show you how to create a custom report containing returns with unemployment compensation for the primary taxpayer and spouse, entered using Form 1099-G OR by Direct Entry on Schedule 1 – Line 7. From the report, we will also show you how to send a text message to these clients and how to export this report should you want to print a calling list. You can also use what you learn in this video to easily create and save other reports that may be useful within your tax business. Important Note: As of March 17, 2021, the IRS is still instructing tax professionals to NOT AMEND ALREADY FILED 2020 tax returns with unemployment income until further guidance is issued.
