Annual Business Modernized e-File Production Shutdown Begins Sunday, December 26, 2021

Today, the IRS announced via Quick Alerts, that in preparation for the upcoming 2022 Filing Season, the Business Modernized e-File (MeF) Production System will begin its annual shutdown on Sunday, December 26, 2021.
Although the IRS officially begins their shutdown at 11:59 AM (Noon) ET, to ensure that our Central Site has sufficient time to process these business returns, our deadline is 2 hours earlier at 9:59 AM ET (6:59 AM PT).
Partner Support strongly encourages you to plan accordingly and submit any Business Returns in advance of the Sunday, December 26 deadline.
Any acknowledgements not retrieved by 11:59 PM ET on Sunday, December 26 cannot be accessed until MeF opens for production in January 2022
