To our Valued Partners (Using the Business Software Program):
Effective today, the IRS Modernized e-File (MeF) System for Federal Business Returns is now open for e-Filing and our Central Site is accepting the following returns:

1120-S – S Corporation
1065 – Partnership Income
1041 – Estates and Trusts
990 – Tax-Exempt Organizations
In addition, for partners who were unable to transmit prior to the Business MeF shutdown on December 29, 2021 and pick-up ACKS for already e-Filed business returns, you can now transmit to retrieve those ACKs (using your 2021 software for TY2020 business returns).
Software Version Reminder:
The 2022 Federal Corporate Program for preparing TY2021 business returns was released in December and is currently at Version 2022.002. Be sure you transmit often, especially at this time of the tax season, to ensure you are always at the latest software version before preparing and/or transmitting returns for your clients.
Release Status for TY2021 Individual State Programs for 1040 and Business:
Important Note! The IRS MeF System for Individual 1040 Returns remains closed and an open date has not yet been announced by the IRS. We will share that information with our partners as soon as the official announcement is made.
