Today, the IRS announced tax relief available for those affected by Hurricane Ida, including an extended deadline until January 3, 2022, to file various individual and business tax returns and make tax payments. The IRS also shared that taxpayers in Ida-impacted localities designated by FEMA in neighboring states will automatically receive the same filing and payment relief.
